Enrolment

We welcome your interest in Sacred Heart College. The College has a vivid and enviable Special Character and a rich tradition of success and achievements in academic, sporting, music and cultural activities.

It has evolved through the vision and dedication of many Marist Brothers over more than a century, and of an increasing proportion of committed lay staff in more recent years.

Students enrolled at the College bring talent and potential to be developed further. We have high standards and high expectations of what each student can achieve. We believe strongly that each student should be extended by:

  • Developing his own spirituality within the context of the Catholic, Marist and Champagnat faith community.
  • Accepting the opportunities offered by the balanced Academic Curriculum.
  • Developing strengths through participation in a wide range of sporting, music and cultural activities.
We value parents as a vital part of College life. We endeavour to work closely with them, to communicate honestly and frequently, and to ensure that their sons are offered the maximum opportunities for achievement. Together we can work effectively to ensure that we achieve our vision for each student to leave the College grounded in the Catholic Faith, confident and prepared to be active in a changing and complex world.

The two major entry points to the College are at Year 7 and Year 9 for Day Boys and Year 9 for Boarders. Boys are admitted at other levels if places are available.
