Musical talent recognised

French horn player Bede van Schaijik, Year 13, has been awarded one of only seven year-long scholarships with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra. This fabulous scholarship entitles him to be paired with an APO mentor for the year, have eight free lessons/sessions with that musician and to play in an APO concert later in the year. This is another first for Bede – first NZQA Music Scholarship and first APO Scholar.
