PTA

The Sacred Heart College Parent Teachers Association is an active and vital body within the College community. The PTA  focuses on support activities that benefit the whole community and are not covered by other groups within the College. 

An Annual General Meeting of the PTA is held in late February, at which the committee is elected. New committee members are always welcome. Committee meetings take place on the second Tuesday of the month, between February and November.

Funds raised by the PTA are allocated to five areas: Special Character, Arts, Sports and Recreation, School Resources and initiatives supporting the Marist Brothers.

The major fundraising focus of the PTA is the annual fair, being held in 2011 on Sunday, 20 March. In 2011 there is also a walkathon planned for that date.
