Friends of SHC

The Friends of Sacred Heart is an organisation for those with a keen interest in Sacred Heart, and who wish to keep up to date with College activities.

Its aim is to create forums that have a strong social focus, but which also provide members with opportunities to support the College, to learn about the College’s progress and to express their views about its future direction.

Some of the proceeds from social activities will provide funds for the College.

Who can join?

• a parent of future, present or past pupils
• grandparents or other family members
• current or past staff
• old boys, who may also be members of the Old Boys’ Association
• sponsors, local residents or members of our local parishes.
• In fact, anyone who would like to assist us in education young men and helping them to reach their full potential.

What are the benefits of membership?

As a Friend we can maintain contact with you, updating you of activity being undertaken by the College and the Friends movement. We will do this through

• Regular mailings.
• The magazine Confortare.
• Inviting you to social functions and events we hold, a number of which will be at the College.
