Years 9-11 Father and Son Mass & Breakfast
The Years 9–11 Father and Son Mass was held in the College Chapel on Friday, 31 July and was celebrated by Father Tony Dunn. It was wonderful to see so many fathers, grandfathers, uncles and other significant men in the lives of our boys joining them for the Mass and the breakfast that followed.
At the conclusion of the Mass, Mr Daniel Faitaua spoke about the importance of the relationship between fathers and their sons, reflecting on his own experience as a father to three sons, two of whom are currently students at the College.
In response, his eldest son, Cohen, spoke about the importance of their relationship, personally thanking his father and encouraging others to do the same. It was particularly special to have three generations of the Faitaua family present, along with Mrs Faitaua.
Events such as these can have a lasting impact, and the College is fortunate to have families and staff who are willing to be part of these meaningful occasions.
