Hosting an International Student is a great opportunity for those in your family to learn about a new culture while sharing your own, and make friendships that can last a lifetime.
A Host Family needs to be able to provide:
- A warm, light bedroom with a study desk, chair and lamp
- Wi-Fi Internet
- All meals and snacks including school lunches
- Close proximity to the College or to the College bus routes, or public transport
There are short-term and long-term options for hosting. In addition to students who attend as day boys, we also have boarders who need placements during the school holidays or long weekends while the College Hostel is closed.
All hosts are required to complete a Police Vetting Form, which is mandatory in New Zealand.
