Support our students and their discovery of science and beyond

So much of what is valuable to life at Sacred Heart College is linked to our belief that a Sacred Heart education would deliver excellence, opportunity, leaders, leadership, community and courage. It is our responsibility to ensure that this continues for current and future students, in perpetuity.

The new facility will include laboratories for Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and STEM for Robotics, an outdoor area for Agriculture/Horticulture, shared resource spaces, staff workroom, plus staff and student toilet facilities. In addition there will be a specifically designed and built Archives Room to protect and preserve the history and legacy of Sacred Heart College, making it available to students, Old Boys and the wider Sacred Heart community.

Our Science Discovery Centre will enable students to explore science, to discover the potential and opportunities it offers and to shape their own futures and the future of our community.

This project is a significant financial undertaking, and we appreciate the ongoing support of our parent community in being able to deliver this project. We are seeking assistance from the Sacred Heart community in building on the philanthropy shown by past generations.

This year, we focused on supporting the new Science Discovery Centre, and we are so grateful for the generous donations made by our community. 

This project is far from complete, so if you missed Giving Week, no problem! We continue to look to the Sacred Heart community in building on the philanthropy shown by past generations. We welcome your support in helping our students to discover science. 

There are a number of ways to show your support for the Science Discovery Centre:

  • Donate by Debit or Credit Card - click on the Donate here button below.
  • Donate by Internet Banking: Direct Credit to SHCDF bank account: 03 0104 0064033 00 - please include a reference name to appear on the bank statement.
  • Donate by Pledge: Pledge an amount payable per year for three years by automatic payment. Please contact the Development Foundation Office on +64 529 3660 Ext 717.

All donations will receive a tax refund of up to 33%.
