What is Sacred Heart’s Giving Week?
Sacred Heart’s Giving Week is an online fundraising campaign, providing a week-long opportunity for the Sacred Heart community to support Sacred Heart to build our new Science Discovery Centre.
When is Sacred Heart’s Giving Week?
Sacred Heart’s Giving Week will start on Monday 27 May 2024 at 9.00am and will conclude on Monday 3 June at 11.59pm.
What does my donation support?
Your donation will be used towards helping us deliver our new Science Discovery Centre and Archives Room. Included will be:
- Chemistry Labs
- Biology Labs
- Physics Labs
- Agriculture Lab
- General Science Labs
- Archives Room
- Resource, technician’s and staff work rooms
Why should I support Sacred Heart’s Giving Week?
By donating to this campaign, you will be playing your part in making the Science Discovery Centre a reality and leaving a legacy for future generations. This Science Discovery Centre will create an exceptional learning facility for our students and a vibrant hub for them to learn and experiment.
How do I make my donation?
During Giving Week, click on the "Donate this Giving Week" button and it will take you through to a form to complete. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt. All payments are processed using a secure online Donation Form.

Is the donation Tax Deductible?
Yes, Sacred Heart College Development Foundation is a New Zealand registered charity. You will receive a Donation Receipt for your donation which is tax deductible and will include all the necessary information for NZ tax purposes.
Can anyone donate to Sacred Heart’s Giving Week?
Yes, parents, grandparents and other family members, Old Boys and friends of Sacred Heart are all welcome to show their support for Sacred Heart and donate to this campaign, so please encourage others to donate too.
Can I donate if I live outside New Zealand?
Yes, the Donation Form should work for every donor regardless of where you are in the world.
What happens to my personal information?
Your personal information will be stored securely and only used by Sacred Heart College and the Sacred Heart College Development Foundation for record keeping and communication purposes.
